ABOUT
Downbeat Mastering is a full-service mastering studio based in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is owned and operated by Josh Llewellyn, who has 18 years of experience in the music industry as a disc-cutting and mastering engineer, sound technician, and promoter. Josh brings a wealth of expertise to every project.
Our studio is specifically designed for mastering and is equipped with ATC monitors and a carefully selected mix of analog and digital technology.
We adopt a collaborative approach to mastering and work closely with our clients to understand their sound and vision. We maintain open lines of communication throughout each project and take pride in being an integral part of the creative process rather than just providing a transactional service.
