Downbeat Mastering is a full-service mastering studio based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Downbeat is owned and operated by Mastering Engineer Josh Llewellyn.

 

Our studio is designed by acoustician John Brandt and equipped with ATC monitors and a carefully selected mix of analog and digital technology.

We are passionate about music, mastering, and the incredible people we collaborate with! We wholeheartedly support the music community, both locally and abroad, and primarily work with independent and underground music scenes. We prioritise open communication throughout each project and take pride in being an integral part of the process, rather than just offering a transactional service.
